Village Mehmoodpur Road, Gohana · Haryana
Where every child
finds their spark.
DCS Public School has spent the years since 2017 turning a young campus into a full-fledged school — from the first pre-primary classroom to senior science laboratories — under the Dr. Ram Rattan Saini Education and Welfare Trust.
About the School
A young school, growing on purpose.
Founded in 2017 and run by the Dr. Ram Rattan Saini Education and Welfare Trust — permanently registered since 2006 — DCS Public School sits on an 8,100 m² campus off Mehmoodpur Road, near the Drain No. 8 bridge in Gohana. What started with a handful of primary sections has grown into four building blocks, a senior wing, eight dedicated laboratories and a transport fleet reaching families right across the area.
Our sections stay small by design — most run well under forty students — so a teacher can actually know the child in front of them, not just the roll number. That single decision shapes almost everything else here: how we teach, how we assess, and how quickly a parent gets a call when something changes.
Quality Education
Structured, syllabus-first teaching with smart-class support at every stage.
Practical Learning
Lab time, computer sessions and hands-on activity — not lectures alone.
Holistic Development
Art, debate, dance, music and sport sit inside the timetable, not after it.
Values & Leadership
Student councils and house duties give children real responsibility, early.
Why Families Choose Us
What a school in Gohana should offer.
Parents across Gohana and the surrounding villages of Sonipat district choose DCS Public School for six reasons that have stayed constant since 2017.
Sections that stay small
Most classes run a single section in the twenties. A teacher in Gohana who knows thirty children well will always beat one managing sixty — so we have kept intake deliberately tight rather than filling every desk.
Labs that get used
Eight laboratories — physics, chemistry, composite science and computing — plus fifteen lab computers and two digital classrooms. Practical periods are timetabled, not squeezed in before an exam.
Transport you can track
Four school-owned buses and a van reach families right across Gohana and the nearby villages, every one of them visible live on the school's GPS bus tracking app, with a female attendant on board.
A campus built for the day
Fifty rooms across four blocks on 8,100 m², with 5,000 m² of playground, a 2,500-book library, medical room, canteen and CCTV throughout — all of it barrier-free with ramps.
Everything on the record
CBSE Affiliation No. 531907, the Haryana Government NOC, building and transport safety certificates — published in full on this page rather than kept in a file.
More than the syllabus
Art and craft, debate, dance, music, gardening, yoga and educational trips sit inside the weekly timetable — because a child who only ever sits an exam has been half-taught.
Where our students come from
DCS Public School serves families in Gohana town and the surrounding villages of Sonipat district. If your area is not listed, call the transport coordinator — routes are reviewed each session.
From the Principal's Desk
"A school isn't measured by how big its building is, but by how safe a child feels raising their hand in class. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, every single day."
Since 2017 we have grown block by block and lab by lab — but the intent has not changed. We want a child who leaves this campus to be curious, courteous and capable of standing on their own feet. Parents are welcome to walk in during school hours; the best way to understand a school is to see an ordinary Tuesday, not a prepared one.

Academics
Three wings, one campus.
Classes are grouped into three stages, each with its own pace, teachers and facilities — so the jump from one wing to the next feels like a step up, not a shock.
Primary
Foundational literacy and numeracy in small, teacher-led sections with smart-class support, activity rooms and daily play.
Middle
Subject-wise teaching begins, alongside the computer lab, debate club, art & craft periods and the first formal science practicals.
Senior
Physics, chemistry and biology labs come into regular use as students prepare for board patterns, with skill subjects offered alongside.
What a week actually contains
Skill and vocational subjects are offered as part of the school's CBSE filing. Two dedicated digital classrooms plus projector-enabled rooms support smart-class teaching across wings.

Facilities & Infrastructure
Everything a school day actually needs.
Built across four blocks, 50 rooms and 5,000 m² of playground, the campus is planned around three things: safety, access, and enough hands-on space that "practical learning" isn't just a slogan on a wall.
Campus Wi-Fi
Wireless coverage across the teaching and administrative blocks, with school web servers on site.
Smart Classrooms
Two dedicated digital classrooms plus projector-enabled teaching spaces and web-based learning programmes.
Library
278 m² reading room holding 2,500 books, 2,041 reference titles, 4 periodicals and 4 daily newspapers.
8 Laboratories
Physics, chemistry, composite science and computer labs — each roughly 58 m², with 15 computers in the computer lab.
Canteen
A dedicated student canteen alongside a separate staff canteen, with three water purifiers on campus.
4 Playgrounds
5,000 m² of open ground for athletics, football, basketball, kabaddi and cricket.
Medical Room
An on-campus clinic for first response, routine check-ups and anything that needs a quiet room and a nurse.
3 Activity Rooms
Art, craft and debate periods built into the timetable, with rooms set aside for them.
Dance & Music
Dedicated dance and music facility, with regular practice sessions and performances at school festivals.
4 Building Blocks
50 rooms in all — 45 large, 2 medium and 3 small — on a single 8,100 m² site with a full boundary wall.
Gardening & Trips
Gardening periods, tree plantation drives and curated educational trips through the year.
Barrier-Free Campus
Ramps throughout, plus a dedicated washroom for differently-abled students and staff.
Sports & Fitness
Games period is not optional here.
Four playgrounds, a gymnasium and an indoor games facility mean a child gets outside — or at least off the chair — every single day. Yoga runs alongside, because breathing well turns out to matter as much as running fast.
Outdoor Sports
Football, cricket, kabaddi, basketball and athletics across 5,000 m² of ground.
Indoor Games
A dedicated indoor games facility for rainy days, winter mornings and after-lunch periods.
Gymnasium
An on-campus gymnasium supporting the physical-education programme for senior students.
Yoga
Regular yoga and breathing sessions on the mats, timetabled rather than tacked on.

Transport & Safety

Every school vehicle is tracked live through the school's GPS bus tracking app, and every bus carries a female attendant alongside the driver. Below is the fleet as filed with the Board, and the safety systems that sit behind it.
The fleet
Four buses and one van, all owned by the school rather than hired — which means the maintenance, the drivers and the routes are ours to answer for. Transport safety certification is on record with the Board.

Parent Questions
Things parents ask us most.
If your question isn't here, the office will answer it on the phone in about two minutes.
Yes. The school holds CBSE Affiliation No. 531907 under School Code 41907. The school is run by the Dr. Ram Rattan Saini Education and Welfare Trust (Reg. No. 6605), permanently registered since 2006, and holds a No Objection Certificate from the Government of Haryana issued in May 2018.
The school runs a morning shift, Monday to Saturday, grouped into three wings — Primary, Middle and Senior. Exact reporting and dispersal times vary slightly by wing and by season; the office will confirm the current timetable for your child's class.
Small, and deliberately so. Most classes run a single section, with strength typically in the twenties and the largest senior sections around forty. It means teachers know each child by name and by pattern — not just by roll number.
Yes. The school owns four buses and one van — none hired — operated by five trained drivers, with four female attendants on bus duty. Every vehicle is tracked live through the school's GPS bus tracking app, and the transport safety certificate is on record with the Board. For routes and stop timings, call the transport coordinator, Mr. Sunil, on +91 70153 08207.
Four steps: send an enquiry through this website or call the office; visit the campus during school hours; collect and submit the admission form followed by a short interaction with the child and parents; then submit documents — birth certificate, previous report card, transfer certificate, Aadhaar, photographs and parent ID. The seat is confirmed once documents are verified and a place is available in that class.
Yes. The campus is barrier-free with ramps throughout, and there is a dedicated washroom for differently-abled students and staff. There are no lifts, so please speak to us in advance about classroom placement so we can put your child's sections on accessible floors.
Four playgrounds across 5,000 m² support football, cricket, kabaddi, basketball and athletics, with an indoor games facility and a gymnasium for days that don't suit the field. Yoga is timetabled rather than optional. Beyond sport: art and craft, debate, dance, music, gardening and educational trips all sit inside the weekly timetable.
No. DCS Public School is a day school. Students travel daily, and the school's own bus fleet covers Gohana and the surrounding villages.
